System Requirements for Atomic Assessments: What You Need for Best Performance

To ensure smooth functionality, Atomic Assessments shares system requirements similar to major Learning Management Systems (such as Canvas and D2L). If your system can run those platforms effectively, it will also support AA.

1. Internet Connectivity

Broadband Internet Required:

A stable, high-speed internet connection is essential. While Canvas recommends a minimum of 512 kbps, faster and more reliable connections (such as cable or DSL) are strongly advised for optimal performance—particularly during assessments or media-heavy usage.

2. System Compatibility/Minimum Requirements

Cross-Platform Support:

Any system capable of running a modern LMS like Canvas or D2L should be fully compatible with AA. This includes:

Supported Operating Systems: Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and Chrome OS—as long as you can run a supported web browser.
