Atomic Search provides Usage Analytics to help institutions understand how the tool is being used across courses and accounts. These analytics give insight into adoption, engagement, and overall value during your license period.
What Usage Analytics Include
Usage Analytics for Atomic Search cover the following areas:

Users: student and teacher activity

Courses: where Atomic Search is being used

Search activity:

Total searches
-
Search types
-
-
Total licensed users
-
License-period data:

Analytics reflect usage within your active license window (for example, January 2025 – January 2026)

Analytics are available at two levels:

Course-level analytics – specific to an individual course
-
Account-level (global) analytics – aggregated across the entire account
Accessing Usage Analytics at the Course Level
To view usage analytics for a specific course:

Navigate to the course in your LMS

Open the course navigation bar and select Search

Click the three-dot menu

Select Usage Analytics
This view is helpful for understanding how Atomic Search is being used within a single course, including student engagement and search behavior.
Accessing Usage Analytics at the Account (Global) Level
To view usage analytics across your entire account:

Click the magnifying glass icon on the far left of the Atomic Search interface

Open the three-dot menu

Select Usage Analytics
This view provides a high-level overview of Atomic Search usage across all courses and users tied to your license.
