  • Feedback is presented when interacting with Assignment Presets - We added feedback that displays next to the preset dropdown. When an assignment preset is changed, saved, deleted, or added to an assignment this feedback will display.

  • Added the ability to specify a custom start screen - Custom start screens give you the ability to present assignment information before a student attempts the assignment. To add a custom start screen create a new item in the authoring tab containing the information you want to display. To add the start screen item to the assignment, navigate to the assignment’s items tab and click on the hamburger menu dropdown. There is a new menu option “Start screen”. Clicking on the menu item will allow you to assign a new item for the start screen. Note: The custom start screen will only display if the assignment setting “Show start screen” is enabled.

  • Added the ability to reopen a student attempt - You can reopen a student’s submitted assignment so that they can modify and re-submit their assignment. To reopen a student’s assignment, navigate to the assignment Summary report and click on the link in the Status column of the student’s row. In the near future, we will also add the ability to give the student additional time when reopening a student’s attempt on an assignment that has a time limit.

  • Added the ability to force submit a single student’s assignment - Previously, you could force submit all student’s in-process work for an assignment.
