How do I create a start screen for an assignment?

Discover how to create a start screen for an assignment in Atomic Assessments.

You can customize the start screen for any assignment by creating an item with the content you want to display. In order to specify the content for the start screen of an assignment:

1. In the Atomic Assessments menu, choose the three-dot menu, then Content Manager.

2. Under the Items tab, create an new Item.

3. Add a Passage using the Features tab.

4. Enter the start screen content, then Save. 

5. Add a title to the item so you can find it from the assignment. 

6. Navigate to the desired assignment you want to have the start screen and select Edit Question List.

7.  Click on the Start Screen underneath the three dot menu on the upper right hand side below the save button.

8. Click on the check mark of the start screen Item just created.

9. Turn on the Show start screen setting in the Assignment.
